What is the differance between a Building application/approval and Planning.

A building approval is what we require to legally build your new outdoor area or Carport. In almost all cases you will only require the building approval. You will only require a planning approval if your house is in certain areas and/or you want to build something that lies outside the R-codes. Planning can take upto 2 or 3 months but we can usually obtain this relatively easily. Further charges will be incurred if this is the case. As every planning situation is differant we will quote this as required. Yes you will still need to get a building approval as well.There is no need to be home when we install your new patio. However we will require outside power. You can go about your day as normal and when you get home you can overview the days progress.
